Toyota MR2

The MR2

The Original Snap Oversteer King, the MR2 is famed among car enthusiasts over its handling and great power to weight ratio (in the turbo model). A light, T-top sports car has never gone wrong amongst the people and when you add a turbo into the mix, everything becomes much more fun.

With a solid 165 KW and 304N-M of Torque, there is no doubt the MR2 can send it well. Given the MR2's adequate amount of aftermarket support and the large fanbase the car has created, it is definitely an old car that will last a long time especially made possible through Toyota's bulletproof engines and undying engineering. The flip lights and rear make this car one of the most stylish RR layout cars we have ever seen touch the globe where the front flips create iconic statements and the rear gives competitors something to look at while the MR2 gaps you on the straights and overtakes you in the bends.

The car is very versatile, able to become a stanced out show car with deep dish rims and insane camber amounts or a rock solid race-car, featuring insane engine swaps, suspension and transmission upgrades to say the least. The fact of the matter remains that the MR2 is one of the people's favourite cars, whether it be to roast due to it's snap-oversteer tendencies or to preach and admire thanks to it's technical prowess.

The Nissan 180SX

The Nissan 180SX The Nissan 180SX was introduced between 1988 and 1998. It was often compared to the Silvia S13 as this was its sister model. The 180SX was available in either a CA18DET 1.8L Turbo, SR20DE 2.0L or a SR20DET 2.0L turbo engine. The SR20 turbo a.k.a SR20DET and the 5-speed combo is the top of the range SR20 180SX that you could buy. Overall, this car makes a great project car, being very rewarding and not too challenging to modify.  SR20DET 180SX This engine uses a square 86.0mm bore and stroke to achieve a 1998cc swept capacity, while its compression ratio is 8:5:1. The max power is 150kW (at 6000rpm) and max torque is 275Nm (at 4000rpm).  DRIFTING The Nissan 180SX was a famous drift car. We'd imagine that real care would be needed while driving on a wet road, though. The 180SX is also used in the motorsport of drifting. A famous example of this would be Yoshinori Koguchi drifting a Nissan 180SX at D1 Grand Prix competition a...

Mazda RX7 (FD3S) Rotary life

Mazda RX7 (FD3S) I don’t know about you guys but one of the most iconic cars that come to mind when you think about hero vehicles from the last 50 years has got to be the Mazda RX7. It was a futuristic car way ahead of its time and had an engine (wankel rotary) so unique that it became a legend in the worldwide car community. The cars engine and looks were very unique to its time period it was manufactured in, from 1992-2002. The engine put out a very healthy 188 kilowatts mated to a 5 speed manual transmission which gave the lightweight vehicle great agility and control. Over the years it has become a favourite among car lovers for its ability to be modified and also due to its iconic (braapp braapp) engine sound.   This is one of those vehicles that when you start it up you just want to go down an empty backroad, with the windows down and revving the engine to 8000rpms producing that invigorating sound that makes people sm...

Mazda RX-8

Mazda RX-8 The Mazda RX-8 was manufactured from 2003 to 2012. It is the successor to the RX-7 and, like its predecessors in the RX range, it is powered by the famous 1.3l Wankel rotary engine producing 142kw. This JDM wonder had a very stylish futuristic design with rear freestyle doors that open backwards, making it feel luxurious and supercar like. It gained popularity early on due to the success of the RX-7 in the overseas market with enthusiasts lining up to get the successor to the famous rotary engine. It was light weight with enough power to push the car through the corners and to its limits. Due to its engine design the car is capable of driving at a very high RPM for long amounts of time making it not only fast but sound incredible.   It was slightly larger than the RX-7 having more space enabling rear passengers to fit. It still carried down its racing pedigree and performance over from the RX-7. The RX-8 has won 37 international motoring awards incl...
