Evolution, no I’m not talking about Charles Darwin theory of human’s existence.  Im talking about the all-wheel drive(AWD) rally beast that was on the scene before WRX came to play.  It was powered my Mitsubishis’ 4G63 Inline 4 cylinder engine putting out a healthy 214kw to the wheels. This is Mitsubishi’s Flagship sedan that many people to this day compare against the WRX for its many similarities and differences.

Mazda RX7 (FD3S) Rotary life

Mazda RX7 (FD3S) I don’t know about you guys but one of the most iconic cars that come to mind when you think about hero vehicles from the last 50 years has got to be the Mazda RX7. It was a futuristic car way ahead of its time and had an engine (wankel rotary) so unique that it became a legend in the worldwide car community. The cars engine and looks were very unique to its time period it was manufactured in, from 1992-2002. The engine put out a very healthy 188 kilowatts mated to a 5 speed manual transmission which gave the lightweight vehicle great agility and control. Over the years it has become a favourite among car lovers for its ability to be modified and also due to its iconic (braapp braapp) engine sound.   This is one of those vehicles that when you start it up you just want to go down an empty backroad, with the windows down and revving the engine to 8000rpms producing that invigorating sound that makes people smile

The Nissan 180SX

The Nissan 180SX The Nissan 180SX was introduced between 1988 and 1998. It was often compared to the Silvia S13 as this was its sister model. The 180SX was available in either a CA18DET 1.8L Turbo, SR20DE 2.0L or a SR20DET 2.0L turbo engine. The SR20 turbo a.k.a SR20DET and the 5-speed combo is the top of the range SR20 180SX that you could buy. Overall, this car makes a great project car, being very rewarding and not too challenging to modify.  SR20DET 180SX This engine uses a square 86.0mm bore and stroke to achieve a 1998cc swept capacity, while its compression ratio is 8:5:1. The max power is 150kW (at 6000rpm) and max torque is 275Nm (at 4000rpm).  DRIFTING The Nissan 180SX was a famous drift car. We'd imagine that real care would be needed while driving on a wet road, though. The 180SX is also used in the motorsport of drifting. A famous example of this would be Yoshinori Koguchi drifting a Nissan 180SX at D1 Grand Prix competition at Fuji Spe

The Toyota Chaser... My Next Car?!

The Toyota Chaser If you've ever heard of this car, you'll know of it's a car of class with a hint of madness thrown into the makings. If you've never heard of this car... lets imagine, have you ever wanted the speed and sounds of a Supra, but you want a car with the practicality of a Camry? This is that car. The Chaser is an insanely fast 4 door sedan, packing 206 kw of power under the hood, brought to you by Toyota's very own 1JZ-GTE (that's an inline-6 TURBO), predecessor to the legendary 2JZ that was placed in the Mark IV Supra. This kind of power is put to the floor through the Chaser's rear wheels, and while you may think of this car as a quick Camry I can promise you it is much more capable than that. The Chaser is the jack of all trades. You can build them to unimaginable power figures that exceed the likes of 500 hp, or you can tune the suspension and front steering to drift these sedans around a circuit, it's up to you! Not even me
